About Fr. Joseph A. Tetlow, SJ

Fr. Joseph Tetlow, SJ, was ordained in Mobile, Alabama, in 1960. He holds licentiates in philosophy and theology from pontifical faculties and a doctorate in American social and intellectual history from Brown University. He has been an editor of America, president of a Jesuit theologate, tertian director, and assistant for Ignatian spirituality to Fr. General Kolvenbach in Rome. He is currently writer-in-residence, Jesuit Hall, St. Louis University.
